Hi! I'm Natalie!
I’m a pediatric-nurse-turned-stay-at-home-mama who loves to find the adventure in every day life. One of the things that people always asked me about my job was “isn’t that hard taking care of sick children?!” And the truth is, it was hard, incredibly hard, but also one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. I loved being able to take something scary and make it not so scary, for both the children and the families.
Being a Mama Bear is also scary! There are so many things that you are responsible for. So much unknown. But also the opportunity for so much happiness! I want to help other Mama Bears find the happiness in motherhood and the adventure in every day life.

In order for me to enjoy these everyday adventures, I have come up with some tools and tricks to stay organized and have fun along the way. These tools allow me to focus on the things that matter.
I was a Mama Bear loooooong before I had a Baby Bear of my own. Being a Mama Bear is about loving and caring for those around you. Whether that is through a home cooked meal, enjoying a trip (big or small), or handling all of the important details of day to day life.
I pride myself on being the Mama Bear of my family. I fiercely love my Baby Bear and two “puppy monsters”. And I could not imagine this life without Papa Bear by my side! I have lived in five states and two countries, driven cross country three times, and visited eleven countries abroad. I have had the priviledge of being a pediatric oncology nurse for over ten years, but right now I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home and raise my Baby Bear.
